Location: coastal strand: Ventura, Aug 2009.

Characteristics: Native, White, Yellow, Green, Medium, Clusters, Odd, Woody, Perennial, Summer.

Status:  C N P S  List 1B.1

Photographed slightly out of range for SAMO, but an important species of interest. For decades it was presumed extinct until a small population was discovered in a Ventura oil field. There has been a significant effort to bring this unique species back from the brink of extinction.
